KLABU creates sportswear for the world to build sportsclubs in refugee camps. The sports shirts that we sell at Up To Do Good, are linked to the very first sportsclub in the Kalobeyei Settlement in Kenya, where 40,000 refugees live. The shirt is a symbol of honor and support: 50% of the sales profits are directly used to support the refugee camps and 50% is reivested in the brand to boost the impact. So twice as good: with a KLABU shirt you not only support the KLABU goals, but the Up To Do Good charities at the same time!
How did it all start?
KLABU creates sportswear for the world. With the proceeds they build sportsclubs in refugee camps. The KLABU Foundation takes care of everything on site: the establishment, construction and maintenance of clubhouses. Developing and selling products gives KLABU a degree of independence to become a healthy organization with long-term impact. 50% of the sales profit goes directly to the KLABU Foundation to build and maintain the clubs, the other 50% is reinvested in the brand to increase the impact. It is a young organization based in Amsterdam and Kenya, a social start-up with a scalable business model to enable positive change.
Sports and refugee camps
