Like Charlie is a Dutch brand that strives to create more awareness for mental health under adolescents. More and more young people experience problems with their mental health. One in seven Dutch adolescents indicata that they have depressing thoughts.
Founder Jurren has coped with his mental health for a long time. He experienced that being open about it, improved his mental health a lot. Like Charlie wishes to reduce the stigma around mental health and inspire everyone to join in the conversation around this topic, creating more openness.
The Like Charlie items each carry a message through their unique prints. The prints are there to ensure that the difficult topic of mental health becomes lighter. Like Charlie also wishes to spread a message of positivity. They do so throuhh their colourful illustrations and inspriring quotes. Their own designs and relaxed fit stimulate your confidence.

Who is Charlie?
Charlie is the character. Everyone needs to be able to relate to Charlie, the reason why the character has a unisex name. Also, Charlie has an outspoken hairdo and clothes. Just like you, Charlie is special. Charlie makes it's own choices and likes to do things just a tad different as everyone else and doesn't care what others think.
