Up To Do Good is all about purpose and adding value to the entire supply chain. Things may have a value to you and me, but also to the makers, their communities and the world around us. In our philosophy the journey doesn't end with the customer, but our customer is the beginning of something good.

Mission & Brands

Our mission is the fundament for the selection of our brands. The products we sell must be materially and/or socially sustainable. So either sustainably sourced, manufactured or processed and provide environmental, social, and economic benefits while protecting public health and the environment throughout their whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to the final disposal. Such as the organic cotton T-Shirts by Dedicated and On Vacation, the Alpaca wool scarfs by Alpaca Loca, the bags by O My Bag made of leftover pieces of leather, jewelry of recycled silver by T.I.T.S., the natural handmade soaps by Botma & Van Bennekom and raincoats of recycled PET bottles by Maium.

At Up To Do Good we try as much as we can to offer circular products. Some brands like Ucon Acrobatics have mastered that circularity. Other brands have more focus on society and make sure that people work in a healthy environment and receive a fair wage for their work. Brands like A Beautiful Story and Ocean Sole have a strong focus on social sustainability.

Pre Loved

We also collaborate with some brands with regard to our Pre Loved collection. In this collection, we sell items that have small mistakes (like a loose thred) or were used for fotoshoots, but are still very beautiful. In the past these items never made it to a store, they became waste. Our Pre Loved collection saves these and we sell them in our store at Schiphol Plaza with a small discount.  

Donations

This is quite a challenge, but we make a very careful selection of labels and we do extensive research. Consumers are over-saturated with options and information, so we made a beautiful selection of truly sustainable brands. If you purchase something, we donate our proceeds to all kinds of good initiatives such as De Voedselbank, War Child, Human Rights Watch and many more.
