Sandbag is a climate think tank that organises climate actions based on data analysis. They do this mainly in the field of CO2 emissions. Among other things, they buy up emission rights to encourage industry to switch to clean fuels.

Sandbag was founded in 2008 in London and moved its activities in 2013 to Brussels, the political capital of Europe. From there they conduct research on CO2 emissions and provide information to political bodies. Action based on facts and clear analyses! They also buy up emission rights and then destroy them.

Their sister organisation Ember is still based in London and focuses from there on reducing the use of fossil fuels, including coal. Very nice organisations to support with their work! If you want to know more, check out sandbag.be
