As you probably know, one of the ways we support charities and good initiatives is by giving them a free podium.  In Utrecht Central Station we will give a podium to Sheltersuit and Oikocredit.

In addition to a great selection of goods by Up To Do Good, you will therefore also find products from Sheltersuit and products that are made with support of Oikocredit in the Pop Up Store. The proceeds of these products will be completely for Sheltersuit and the initiatives that Oiko Credit supports with micro credits.

Oikocredit

Financial inclusion
Nearly 10% of the world's population lives below the poverty line. The majority live in remote areas and often do not have access to financing. Most of them have a low and unpredictable income and do not have the resources to create a livable existence. The purpose of microfinance is to let people work on their own future. A small amount is enough to start or grow a business. Unlike donation money, a loan is lent out multiple times. The loan repayments are used several times to provide another microcredit to an entrepreneur. This way, the same money continues to support new entrepreneurs and ultimately helps many more people.

Sheltersuit Foundation

The mission of the Sheltersuit Foundation is a world where everyone has access to shelter and is treated with dignity calls for people helping people.
Through innovative solutions, efficient outreach, and dedicated partnerships. Significant strides are being taken to create positive change, build trust, and improve the well-being of those in need.

The sheltersuits are made of recycled material and are not meant as a replacement for finding a home but as a supplement when there's no other choice.
