What are we up to? We are up to do good!

Up To Do Good is an online platform and shop with unique sustainable design accessoires and fashion with ‘green’ labels. Our purpose? To make the world a bit more beautiful!

We only sell products that have been produced as sustainably as possible by brands that share our mission to make the world a bit better. Many of these brands support charities themselves.

In addition thereto, we also support charities ourselves with part of our proceeds.

These last few months of 2023, we support Save the Children.

Save the children

Save the Children was founded more than 100 years ago (1919) by Eglantyne Jebb. She personally made up a charter in which she addressed children's rights. This charter was the foundation for the 1989 United Nations Convention on Childrens Rights. The Childrens Rights Convention was ratified by the Netherlands and is the basis for the articles of association of Save the Children.

Largest independent organisation for children

Since then Save the Children has become the largest organisation for childrens rights in the world, active in more than 120 countries. Every child that is threathened in his or her childhood, has the focus and care of the organisation. Regadless of faith, gender, colour, nationality, or political views. 

Over 23.000 Save the Children professionals, work worldwide on a daily basis, of which more than 85% from local field offices, to help children in vulnerable situations. This may be in emergency situations such as a (natural) disasters, or longlasting conflict situations such as war or chronic poverty.  

Save the Children focusses on those areas where help is most needed, like currently in Sudan. There they provide food supplements to malnourished children in remote villages.
