Here you will find sustainable mackintoshes by Maium and Susan Bijl, and summer and winter coats by Dedicated and Langerchen.
In the rain
With the changing weather in the Netherlands, you better have a nice mackintosh. The mackintoshes of Susan Bijl and Maium make it possible to walk in the rain in a sustainable way. The New Raincoat is a light mackintosh that can be folded into the inside pocket, this is a medium pouch and comes with a belt so you can wear it as a bag, also very handy for a festival! Maium's mackintoshes have zips on the side. This way you can wear it as a normal jacket, but when it rains you can easily transform it into a poncho for the bike or scooter.
Made in China
Dedicated's jackets are made of 100% certified organic cotton, grown without chemical pesticides or fertilizers which makes it extra unique! Langerchen jackets have a timeless look and are made of sustainable materials. Fair production conditions, a small ecological footprint and high-quality products are very important to this brand. In order to keep a close control on the production process, they have set up their own factory in China. Here, the whole production process takes place, from making the fabric to a finished jacket. By doing so, they prove that 'made in China' does not have to have anything to do with mass production or bad working conditions.
